Why I LOVE APPLE!
There are so many reasons why almost 2 years ago I decided to invest moving the studio over from a windows based computer systems to apple, but what happened today tops the list. Just under 2 years ago I bought a iMac as tester to see how I would like using the Mac operating system. Since then we have upgraded and this first iMac has become a computer that is rarely used and if you have been in the studio it is the computer that controls our TV in the front.
Anyway, I have been upgrading our OS to the new Leopard and while installing it on this old iMac something went wrong and the entire computer just wasn't doing what it was supposed to do. I took it into the Apple Store and I worked with one guy for nearly 3 hours to fix it. I am pretty smart when it comes to computers and I pretty much knew what needed to be done to fix it and just nothing was working. We even zeroed out the hard drive and tried to start completely over and it just would not work. Again, 3 hours into it we pretty much gave up and I was preparing myself to buy a new one. Figuring out my options the guy that was helping me ran into the back and came out with a brand new silver iMac. Jokingly I said, sweet your are just going to trade me out. I knew that I was a year out of my warranty and there was know way that he was going to do it. But get this, he said "YUP, You have been super patient over the past 3 hours and I have seen how many computers you have bought from us and I am just going to take care of you." So seriously, he traded out my 2 year old iMac for a BRAND NEW iMAC!!!!
That is customer service and I am a Apple customer for life.

Sooooo, you went from the 2006 January intel imac with faulty leopard to the slick silver flat keyboard supped up new NEW one? Dang your apple angels are watching over you! You definitely deserve it. Especially 'cause you figured out Daylite and Apple TV. You should be sponsored by Apple—wait I think you are! Come to the party Mr Undecided!

Ahhh...it seems like just yesterday when you were the obstinate PC guy from the commercials. Told ya you'd love 'em.
I remember when you went over to the dark side. you were really hesitant. Gotta love them. I'm with j, you relly dont need that new imac then right since it only ran your TV, LOL...
